Slwofood International have received funding to co-ordinate a European Schools for Healthy Food project and Celia Spouncer is co-ordinating Northern Irreland involvement with Lagan College,Belfast as the case study. This Slowfood project is working with schools in over 20 countries to engage young people with the food they eat through schools. This is an innovative cutting edge partnership which will also look to developing school grounds for food education. Northern Ireland will partner with a school in Lisdoonvana Co Clare.
