spouncerECOLOGY has been working with SE Inishowen partnership and Kate Burns of First Western as part of the SE Inishowen area audit, strategy and training programme. An element of this has been an audit of the local environment resource to include the natural heritage to include biodiversity issues, local landscape character to include townland boundaries, ancient trees and woodlands, music and art, shared history, local food and heatlh initiatives to include community allotments and gardens, community food projects, farmers markets, food cooperatives and school projects, amenity interest - footpaths and cycleways, playspace, green corridors and shared space, local responses to wider sustainable development issues and a basis for village design statements for the villages.
